The Ministry of Public Works advises that due to the Cup Match holiday, household waste that would usually be collected on Thursday, July 28th and Friday, July 29th, will instead be collected on Saturday, July 30th.
West-End recycling will be collected on Wednesday, July 27th, while East-End recycling will be collected on Saturday, July 30th. All other waste collection is unaffected by the holiday.
Residents may also use the public drop-off at the Tynes Bay facility for household waste during both days of Cup Match between 9 a.m. and noon. The main tipping hall at Tynes Bay will also be open during the holiday from 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
