COVID-19 Close Treetops ll Nursery School

The Treetops II preschool in Southampton has been closed after an individual associated with the facility tested positive for Covid-19.

It is understood the nursery will now be deep cleaned before it can re-open.

An e-mail sent out to parents yesterday morning, advising that Tree Tops II will be closed until further notice as we have had a positive Covid case.

“The school will be professionally deep cleaned following a risk assessment by the ESU [Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit] before reopening.

“At this time I advise booking a Covid test for your child as they have been in direct contact with a positive case.

“My sincere apologies for any inconvenience.”

The school’s head teacher, declined to comment when contacted by TNN News.
