Completed Authorization Form Required for Re-entry Into Bermuda

During last night’s press conference, it was confirmed that, starting on Sunday June 20, all non-immunized travellers entering into Bermuda will be placed on a 14-day quarantine at one of seven government-approved quarantine locations at their own expense.

Non-immunized travellers entering into bermuda must include an electronic copy of their hotel reservation or an exemption approval form when they fill out their travel authorization form.

“ Provisions under the legislation as of [Sunday, June 20] state that . . . should any traveller not complete a travel authorization form with all of the required information within it, they will not be allowed to arrive in Bermuda,” Minister of Health the Honorable Kim Wilson said.

Earlier today, TNN spoke with a well-respected lawyer who has been monitoring the government’s actions very closely for some time. In their opinion, the government is appearing “ misguided and confused [in their policies] at times.”

It is also their professional opinion that, through certain policies, the government is either tramping on Bermudians’ legal rights or blatantly ignoring them.
