Commissioner Richards cited for bias in West End school closure

Education Commissioner Kalmar Richards was today placed in the middle of the controversy over the education reform and specifically school closings as more of that infamous video surfaced.
Mrs. Richards is shown having great input in the fuller version of the video discussion with Minister Rabain and Bermuda First head Phillip Butterfield.
Also front and centre was  Ru-Zelda Severin Deputy Chair of the Board of Education.
PTA Groups noted that Mrs. Richards should have recused herself from the discussion involving West End Primary and Somerset Primary particularly as she was a former Principal at the Somerset Primary which was ultimately chosen to remain operating while West End Primary got the chop.
Mrs Richards could be heard telling the Minister that two principals in particular had far too much to say:

Any content which is considered unsuitable, unlawful, or offensive, includes personal details, advertises or promotes products, services or websites, or repeats previous comments will be removed.
