The investigation regarding a reported collision involving a car and a pedestrian that occurred around 3:15pm Saturday, 11th May 2024, along Middle Road Warwick near Watch Hill Lane, continues.
Apparently the injured pedestrian, said to be a 31-year-old man visiting from the UK, was treated on site by emergency medical technicians before being transported, conscious, to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further treatment.
It is understood that the UK visitor was later discharged from hospital, after receiving additional relevant medical care.
The car driver, said to be an 83-year-old Warwick man, was not hurt.
Traffic in the area was diverted for approximately three hours, while the scene was processed.
