Close Contact Has Governor Lalgie Exercising Caution

“On Saturday night the Governor was identified as being a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case.  At this time, she has not tested positive, however in line with Government guidance she will be separating from others for seven (7) days.

“The Governor will continue to work remotely but will not be attending any in-person events or meetings until the results of her day seven (7) test.

“Government House is working with the Corporation of St. George to reschedule the Peppercorn Ceremony, which was due to take place on Wednesday, 20 April 2022.”
