The Minister of Education, the Hon. Diallo Rabain, JP, MP, has this afternoon released the following update regarding the Clearwater Middle School.

Minister Rabain said, “As announced yesterday, Clearwater Middle School was experiencing Air Conditioning (A/C) problems and as a precaution, the school building was closed today, June 2nd, to ensure all the necessary repairs were completed.”

“Staff, parents and students are advised that the Air Conditioning (A/C) system is now fully functional, and the school building will be open for in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, June 3rd.”

“The Ministry would like to thank all staff and parents for their patience while this matter was being addressed.”

Minister Rabain concluded, “Bermuda, I remind you each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Follow Public Health guidelines, wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene, maintain physical distance and download the WeHealth Bermuda app. Do the research, talk with your doctor, and make an informed decision about getting the COVID-19 vaccine.”
