City of Hamilton Fully Operational Following Hurricane Ernesto

The City of Hamilton advises that all essential services have been restored and regular operations have resumed following the impact of Hurricane Ernesto.

The City of Hamilton can report the following updates:

Public bathrooms are open: All public restrooms have been reopened.
Trash collection has resumed as normal: Regular garbage collection services have been restored.
Ports are open: The city’s ports are fully functional.
Parks remain closed: Parks will remain closed while debris cleanup continues. We will provide updates as soon as they are safe to reopen.

In the days leading up to Hurricane Ernesto, our emergency management teams implemented comprehensive preparations to ensure the continuity of essential services. As soon as it was safe to do so, crews mobilized to clear debris and restore systems across the city. Due to this proactive planning and the swift actions of our dedicated staff, Hamilton has weathered the storm with minimal impact.
