City Cancels Fresh Air Films Event Due to Forecasted Inclement Weather

Due to impending inclement weather, the City of Hamilton regrets to inform the public that the Fresh Air Films: Back Outside event scheduled for Saturday, June 25th, has been cancelled.

Senior Events and Marketing Coordinator, Tamara Smith, said of the news, “while we are disappointed to have to make this decision, after reviewing the forecast for this weekend, we are forced to cancel due to the unpredictability of the weather system that is headed toward the island.

“We would like to acknowledge our vendors and logistical teams that were due to participate in the event and thank those who have patronized our City businesses and collected receipts in preparation for entry into Fresh Air Films.”

The City of Hamilton would like to encourage the public to mark their calendars for the next event, Summer Sunday, which will be on July 17th at Victoria Park.
