Bermuda’s cruise ship season was briefly awakened from its winter slumber by the floating spectre of Carnival’s Dream vessel, which made a ten-hour stopover at King’s Wharf in Dockyard on Saturday.
Made up of 15 decks — nine for passengers — with a capacity for between 3,646 and 4,558 cruise guests, along with 1,367 crew, Dream is currently engaged in a 15-day sea cruise to Barcelona, Spain, having departed from Galveston, Texas last Monday.
The medium-sized vessel — 1,004 feet long and 122 feet wide — is a member of the Carnival Dream line, which also includes Carnival Magic and Carnival Breeze.
According to Carnival’s website, Dream is scheduled to make 15 stops in Bermuda during the course of the 2026 cruise season.
