Around 10:20 p.m. on Friday, 12 December, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a two vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Middle Road in the area of Evans Bay, Southampton.
Details surrounding the collision are limited at this time. However, the roadway is currently completely impassable due to significant wreckage and debris from a nearby natural stone wall.
The driver of the car was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The motorcycle rider was not injured in the incident.
Traffic is at a complete standstill in the area and will remain so until the scene can be safely cleared.
