Canadian National Charged in Magistrate Court for Importation of Cannabis

A 54 year old Canadian national was charged in Magistrate Court this morning with two drug related offenses.

On the 13th of March 2023, it’s alleged that Radcliff Brown from Mississauga, Ontario imported into the Islands of Bermuda a controlled drug, namely a quantity of Cannabis.

On the same day he allegedly possessed a controlled drug, namely a quantity of cannabis, with intent to supply.

Senior Magistrate Maxanne Anderson set bail to $25,000 with a like surety and has ordered the defendant to surrender all travel documents.

Brown was represented by lawyer Charles Richardson and Tameka King for the Crown.

The defendant is due to return to court on the 7th of August at 2:30pm.
