According to our source, senior officers reportedly recently met to discuss the matter and an number of suggestions were made by the Bermuda Police Association for addressing it.
Our source claims officers are facing burn out and feel they are being asked to do more with fewer resources. Something they contend is not in the best interest of the community.
Our source also alleged the BPS is faced with a shortage of vehicles and vehicles that are in poor condition.
Our source told us a wheel recently came off a patrol car while offices were driving the vehicle, putting them at risk.
