Bridle Hill and Loyal Hill Pass to be sorted says PLP C10 Candidate Lindsay Simmons

The issue facing residents of Bridle Hill in Smith, may soon be at an end. PLP candidate in today’s by election for constituency #10, Lindsay Simmons, confirming to TNN remedial work to shore up the roadway is now being considered.

Residents have been complaining that the unsafe nature of the private road has made it dangerous for emergency vehicles and trash trucks to access.

Senator Simmons also confirming that Loyal Hill pass is also set to receive some attention.

She says after discussions with public works minister Lt. Col. David Burch, EastEnd Asphalt has been selected to do road surfacing works on the thoroughfare that links Loyal Hill to Vesey Street.

The issues affecting Both Loyal Hill pass and Bridle Hill were brought into focus with the announcement of today’s by election made necessary by the resignation of Michael Dunkley, the former MP for Smiths North.
