BREAKING: Six Aboard Private Jet Missing After Leaving Bermuda for Boston

BREAKING NEWS

A Gulfstream G100 Air Ambulance carrying six people has disappeared while travelling from Bermuda to Boston, prompting a search by the U.S. Coast Guard off Nantucket, Massachusetts.

According to reports published Saturday morning, the aircraft departed Bermuda International Airport at approximately 11:41 p.m. Friday night and was bound for Boston. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) subsequently lost contact with the aircraft during the early hours of Saturday.

The Coast Guard says it has deployed air and surface crews to search for the aircraft, with operations concentrated in waters off the coast of Nantucket.

The aircraft has been identified in reports as a Gulfstream G100, a twin-engine business jet. The aircraft’s reported registration is C-GRJP.

Six people are believed to have been aboard. At this stage, authorities have not released the identities of those on board or confirmed what happened to the aircraft. The Coast Guard’s operation remains an active search and rescue mission.

There are also reports from aviation observers that the aircraft may have been operating as an air ambulance, although I would treat that detail as unconfirmed by official authorities until the Coast Guard, FAA or another authoritative source confirms it.
