The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the death of 46-year-old Allen Trott, Bermuda’s 12th road fatality for 2021, and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Trott was seriously hurt in a two-motorcycle collision, which occurred on South Road in Warwick, near the junction with Dunscombe Road, around 7:50pm Sunday, 19th September 2021.
Both injured riders were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further medical care following the collision. The other rider involved, said to be a 21 year old Pembroke man, was treated at the hospital for a broken arm.
Sadly, Mr. Trott ultimately succumbed to his injuries in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit on Thursday, 30th September.
The investigation continues regarding this latest fatal collision and witnesses that have not already come forward – or members of the public with any relevant information – are now urged to call the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788, or 211, as soon as possible.
