BMDA Mission and Role
The Bermuda Medical Doctors Association is dedicated to supporting physicians across Bermuda by providing a unified voice to advocate for their professional needs and concerns. The BMDA promotes high standards of patient care, serving as a bridge between physicians, healthcare organizations, and the Bermuda government.

Dr. Kyjuan H. Brown, BMDA President, shared his thoughts on the importance of the association’s mission, stating: “I am honored to lead the BMDA at a time when advocating for Bermuda’s physician community is more essential than ever. Healthcare is facing unprecedented uncertainty, with excessive regulation reshaping how we deliver care. Navigating this new paradigm requires strong support for our physicians, and together, we aim to address these challenges so we can continue delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.”

With the new executive team, the BMDA is committed to fostering a collaborative environment that allows Bermuda’s physicians to thrive amidst these evolving conditions, thus positively impacting healthcare outcomes for the local community.
