The Bermuda Motocross Association (BMA) is thrilled to announce its 52nd-anniversary celebration at the beloved Southside Motocross Track.
This landmark event, taking place on Sunday 10th March, will see the gates drop at 12:30 PM for an unforgettable day filled with the roar of engines and the spirit of competition.
This anniversary is particularly significant as we are excited to welcome back our skilled riders from their impressive stint at Daytona, USA. Their participation in one of motocross’s most challenging arenas promises to bring an unparalleled level of racing to Bermuda’s shores.
In addition to the high-level competition, the BMA takes pride in the wide age range of our competitors. With riders as young as 4 years old to those over 50, our races showcase the passion and dedication of motocross across generations. It’s a spectacular sight to see such a diverse group of riders line up at the starting gate, revving their engines in anticipation. The determination and skill across these wide age groups make for a captivating and heart-racing spectacle that is as inspiring as it is exciting.
While Bermudians often enjoy the thrills of American supercross from afar, this event brings the excitement home, providing a stage for local fans to support Bermudian talent directly. It’s a celebration of our sport’s inclusivity and the community it builds, inviting fans to cheer on their favorites as they navigate the challenging turns and jumps of the track. We will also be celebrating our appreciation to St. John’s who tirelessly support us during our race season.
