BHCS Presents PHC with a $10,000 Check

For the 12th consecutive year, Bermuda Health Care Services (BHCS) has continued its sponsorship of the Pembroke Hamilton sports Club (PHC).

Before the club’s first game of their 2021-22 season (scheduled for this weekend) , BHCS Medical Director Dr. Mahesh Reddy presented club president Michael Trott a $10,000 sponsorship check this afternoon.

“ We are delighted to continue supporting PHC’s football program for the twelfth year,” BHCS founder and Executive Chairman and former Premier Dr. Ewart Brown said in a statement.

“ PHC possesses a rich history alongside a deep dedication to the overall development of our young people. Therefore, BHCS is happy to support PHC and wish them continued success on and off the field.”

“ On behalf of PHC Executive and members, we thank BHCS for their years of support of our various programs and we look forward to maintaining that relationship in the future,” Mr. Trott said after being presented the check.

Dr. Reddy took time out during the presentation to encourage people to do their research and get vaccinated against COVID-19, if they have not already done so.

“ Vaccines, for the last century, have kept us safe, so we have to do everything possible to make sure that all of our population is vaccinated,” he said.

“ Mutants are created when people are not vaccinated. The more people get vaccinated, the more likely we will be able to return to our normal lives.”
