BFRS Extinguish Structure Fire at Daniel’s Head

At around 8:26am this morning, a call was received via 911 reporting a structure fire at Daniel’s Head.

Two Fire appliances, One Fire service water tender and Two command cars responded with a total of twelve personnel.

Upon arrival Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel found one single storey structure fully involved with smoke and flames issuing from the structure. Two Firefighters in full protective gear including breathing apparatus entered the structure with a 1 1/2 hose line and extinguished the fire approximately by 9:52am.

 

The building was unoccupied and no injuries were reported in connection to the fire. A fire investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the blaze.

No further information will be provided until the investigation is completed.
