Bermudian Band to Host Debut Performance This Evening

On Saturday June 12, Tanaya Christopher and her new band “Fr3cq3ncy” will be performing live for the first time at Blue Waters Anglers Club at 7 p.m. For those who are unable to attend in person, the performance will also be livestreamed.

Ms. Christopher, who has her own entertainment and event management company “Tanaya Presents,” has been hosting open mic events both on the island and abroad since 2017. As a result, creating a stage for artists to perform and creatively express themselves has become her passion.

“ My aim is to create events that allow local artists, and artists in general, to be able to express themselves, which is really why I created this eight-piece band,” she said. She is also a singer and spoken word artist.
Ms. Christopher’s band consists of older veterans as well as some younger people, all of whom have a passion for performing.

According to Ms. Christopher, this evening’s concert is aimed at anybody 18 years and up who wants to have a good time.

“ For people who love live music and fellowship with people who are ready to have a good time, this is the event for you,” she said.
Tickets at the venue are $25 and livestream tickets are $10. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com
