BERMUDA’S ROADS CLAIM SECOND LIFE IN TWO DAYS

Bermuda recorded it’s second road fatality in the space of two days late last night, following what appeared a single vehicle crash on Mangrove Bay Road in Somerset, outside the former Country Squire Restaurant, directly across from the Butterfield Bank western branch.

A Sandys Parish man in his mid-to-late-30s succumbed to injuries after, reportedly, having his motorcycle come in contact with the left-side curb, before colliding with a utility pole on the same side of the road, while travelling toward Dockyard  moments before midnight.

This motorcycle tragedy marked the second such occurrence involving male individuals from Sandys, with a 40-year-old man having succumbed to his injuries late on Sunday night, following what police have reported as a traffic incident involving five-vehicles.
