Two Bermudian powerboat teams competing at the highest level of international offshore racing were invited to the Cabinet Office on July 15, where Ministers recognised their accomplishments and extended congratulations on their continued success.
Representing Bermuda in the Super Stock class, the teams of Nuff Said (S-12) and S-25 GL Construction have demonstrated dedication and sporting excellence on the global stage.
Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Owen Darrell, JP, MP, said, “These two teams exemplify the spirit, determination, and talent that Bermuda is proud to showcase internationally. Their achievements in a demanding and highly competitive sport speak volumes about their character and commitment. We are proud to support them and to see the Bermuda flag flying high at international events thanks to their hard work and passion.”
Nuff Said, crewed by Luis Martins and W.J. Andy Stoneham, recently competed in the Thunder on Cocoa Beach and the Key West World Championship, while the S-25 GL Construction team, led by David Selley and Steven Bridges, has also made its mark on the same international circuit. Both teams are actively seeking further sponsorship to sustain their racing ambitions and continue representing Bermuda at the highest level.
