New Cargo Service Provides Alternative Supply Chain Option for Local and Overseas Businesses
BermudAir, the only locally-based airline providing year- round service for Bermuda, today announced that it now offers cargo services to and from the island.
With immediate effect, cargo service is available for shipments between Boston and Bermuda. Service to and from the airline’s other routes – Fort Lauderdale and Westchester, New York – will follow.

The first cargo shipment from Boston arrived earlier today for local client Dunkley’s Bermuda. Cargo service to and from Boston is available on flights every day except Tuesdays. The airline can accommodate cargo of a maximum weight per piece of 45kg, and a maximum shipment weight of 1,000kg with dimensions of up to 60 x 60 cm. Hazardous shipments cannot be accepted. BermudAir’s cargo service complies with all relevant local and international regulations, including the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority, IATA, TSA and ASSI, for fast‚ convenient and efficient carriage of cargo by air.
BermudAir has established a dedicated cargo team, along with a network of carefully selected distribution partners, to manage client shipments, who can be contacted on
cargo@flybermudair.com . They also have a General Sales Agent overseas with global contacts, linking BermudAir with other international carriers connecting to its scheduled flights from the US.
