Bermuda Records 6th Road Traffic Fatality

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the death of 52-year-old Robert Hudson, Bermuda’s sixth road fatality for 2022, and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Hudson was fatally injured in a single vehicle collision around 2:45pm, on Sunday 22nd May. Preliminary information suggests he was traveling east along Cut Road near the junction with Floral Lane, St. George’s, when he lost control of his motorcycle causing him to collide with a wall before hitting a parked motorcar.

Despite life-saving efforts, Mr. Hudson tragically succumbed to his injuries a short time later.  An investigation into the circumstances of this fatal collision has commenced and a BPS family liaison officer is providing support to the family at this difficult time.
