The Ministry of National Security is advising the public that the island will experience unsettled weather on Friday (January 14), noting that a Gale Warning will be in effect.
According to the Bermuda Weather Service (BWS), sustained south-westerly gale-force winds up to 35 knots and storm force gusts to 60 knots could be experienced tomorrow afternoon into the early dawn hours of Saturday.
Minister Renee Ming said, “I am encouraging the public to take the necessary safety precautions as the unsettled weather approaches the island.
“The public should also remain vigilant and prepared during these cooler months which can see frequent winter gales.”
