BELCO Notice: As of 9:00pm Hurricane Ernesto has caused approx 22,820 or 63% of our customers to lose power and has damaged some of our overhead infrastructure.
– Our restoration crews have begun assessing the impacts and ensuring hazards are safely secured. The safety of our crews is paramount. They are restoring power when it is safe to do so.
– There are crews stationed in all areas of the island and work is being carried out systematically.
– BELCO crews will stand down at midnight tonight and will begin work at first light tomorrow morning.
– Residents are urged to remain off the roads to allow BELCO crews to carry out their work.
