Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (BELCO) today advised that the Company’s headquarters at 27 Serpentine Road will be closed for business on September 19, 2022, for the public holiday that will coincide with the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
As a result of the closure, BELCO’s Customer Experience call centre and payment services at the head office and Partner Payment Centres will be unavailable on September 19th. Meters originally scheduled to be read and billed on Monday will be rescheduled for the following day. In the event of an outage or emergency, customers will still be able to call 955.
BELCO has several options for customers to view and pay their bills without having to visit the main office or Partner Payment Centres. Customers can sign-up for an account at www.belco.bm/customers/ where they can view their account details and pay their bill using Mastercard, Visa or America Express, sign-up for on-demand debit and direct debit services or opt to pay through local online banking or via an ATM.
