BELCO Apprenticeship Programme Application Deadline on November 2

Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (‘BELCO’ or the ‘Company’) today reminds the public that the deadline to apply for the Company’s apprenticeship programme is Sunday, November 2, 2025.

The Apprenticeship Programme Open House, was postponed due to Hurricane Melissa and will now be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Garry A. Madeiros Administration Building at 27 Serpentine Road from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

The open house will be an information sharing session where anyone interested in applying for the Programme can learn more about how to apply, the roles they can fill and ask any questions they may have. Also, in attendance will be BELCO’s Training and Development Manager, Shaun Roberts along with, current apprentices who will provide their experiences of the apprenticeship program.

The four-year Apprenticeship Programme offers successful applicants the opportunity to train in a structured way towards a successful and rewarding career. The programme blends technical training and academic study with work-based learning to kick start careers in Bermuda’s evolving energy industry with apprentices earning as they learn.
