The Technology Leadership Forum (TLF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2024 TLF IT Mentoring Internship Program. This prestigious program is aimed at addressing the ever-increasing challenges in the recruitment, development, and retention of high-quality staff within the technology industry.
The Technology Leadership Forum (TLF) is committed to nurturing the next generation of technology leaders by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and mentorship necessary to succeed in today’s dynamic and rapidly evolving IT landscape. The TLF IT Mentoring Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals to gain hands-on experience and receive guidance from industry veterans.
Program Highlights include: Mentorship, Real-World Experience, Professional Development, Exposure to Cutting-Edge Technology and comprehensive Training.
During the summer, successful students will receive training in multiple disciplines relating to the technology industry, including: Customer service, communication skills, time management, presentation skills, networking skills, resume writing and interview skills, open-source programming, project management, audit and compliance, budget & finance, governance, information security and more.
The program spans 10-12 weeks, providing interns with a substantial and enriching experience in the world of technology. In addition, it is a paid internship program, offering interns the opportunity to earn while they learn and gain valuable industry exposure.
While the call is open for students to apply, local businesses who may be willing to host a student and nurture their talent over the summer are also encouraged to show their interest. Partnering with TLF in this endeavor can provide local businesses with access to a pool of motivated and skilled interns, contributing to the growth and development of the local technology ecosystem.
Interested candidates, whether students or local businesses, are encouraged to visit the TLF website at www.tlf.bm to learn more about the program and access the application portal or express their interest in hosting an intern. Applications will be accepted until February 29, 2024. The program is open to students currently enrolled in in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of college or university who are studying information technology, computer science or a related field, or a recent graduate within the last 12-16 months.
