Another COVID Outbreak at Senior Residence

TNN is receiving word of another COVID outbreak at a senior’s residence.
It is understood that a group of seniors who went on an outing to the aquarium earlier this week are believed to have contracted the virus either at the aquarium or on the minibus to and from the aquarium.

It is also understood that a large number of people in one section of the residence in question have caught the virus and that one person passed away at the facility recently, due to COVID.

The Ministry of Health’s Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (ESU) has issued stern requirements and it is believed that all the residents at the facility are being tested and that all patients and staff in one particular wing have been ordered to quarantine.

We are unsure if information regarding the outbreak has been pass on to residents’ family members, but the situation remains quite serious.
