The synergy between the storied history of the Sunken Harbor Club and the introduction of Theatrical Thursdays is undeniable. The club’s origin, rooted in tales of adventure and mysteries of the deep, offers the perfect backdrop for this unique series of storytelling events. Theatrical Thursdays will bring the club’s past to life and allow guests to be immersed in the captivating tales that have shaped Bermuda’s identity.
The Sunken Harbor Club, an immersive tropical cocktail bar, has been inspired by tales of adventure and the mysteries of the deep. With local chapters in Brooklyn and Bermuda, the club brings together members from around the world who share a thirst for knowledge and the mixological arts.
The modern history of the Sunken Harbor Club began in 2019 with the discovery of the leather-bound volumes of the Club’s journal of record—the Compendium Bibendium. Deciphering the secret code within the Compendium revealed colorful scenes from the Club’s history, forgotten worlds, wild adventures, and recipes for some of the most delicious drinks ever created.
Theatrical Thursdays will feature a growing lineup of local storytellers, such as William Cox, Bruce Barritt, and Gavin Wilson, who will share the secrets of Bermuda and other intriguing tales with dinner guests. The Sunken Harbor Club welcomes anyone with a captivating story to participate in this unique series, by contacting Cambridge Beaches’ Event Department.
Guests attending “An Evening with Mark Twain” will enjoy a sumptuous three-course dinner, during which they can relax and savor the flavors of the carefully curated menu. As dessert is served, Mark Twain, portrayed by Gavin Wilson, will make his grand entrance, and captivate the audience with an hour of unforgettable entertainment, filled with humor and storytelling.
Tickets for “An Evening with Mark Twain” are $125 plus gratuities, per person, and include a fixed 3-course menu and welcome drink on arrival. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to embark on a journey filled with humor, storytelling, and the spirit of adventure at the Sunken Harbor Club.
