The MarketPlace Plan for Annual Christmas Para

The MarketPlace today announced details for the safe production of the MarketPlace Christmas Parade Motorcade on Sunday 5 December at 5pm.

The health and safety of all participants and spectators is The MarketPlace’s highest priority. All parade participants will be required to present a valid SafeKey. We encourage spectators not to gather in large groups and wear a mask if within six feet from persons who are not of the same household.

Seth Stutzman, president of The MarketPlace group of companies, said: “The MarketPlace family believes strongly in upholding traditions, particularly during the Christmas holiday period. For more than 30 years this holiday event has been the kick-off to the festive season. We are so thrilled to be back with the motorcade and see everyone on the road once again. Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas, and a safe and happy holiday season.”

Following consultation with the Government to ensure roads are open for safe passage, parade route is as follows: start at Shelly Bay MarketPlace, travel west on Northshore Road, continue onto Middle Road, Cavendish Road, Reid Street, then left on to Court Street, right on to Front Street, right on to Queen Street, right on to King Street, continue to Spurling Hill, East Broadway, Crow Lane, Trimingham Road, right on to South Road, continue on to Middle Road until Heron Bay MarketPlace

Additionally, viewers will be able to track the exact progress of the parade as it travels across the island from Shelly Bay MarketPlace to Heron Bay MarketPlace by visiting www.marketplace.bm or The MarketPlace app (available to download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store).                                    ——————-—————————————————                       Any content which is considered unsuitable, unlawful, or offensive, includes personal details, advertises or promotes products, services or websites, or repeats previous comments will be removed.
