Kent Henry to be Honoured at the 2025 Bermuda Gombey Festival

The Department of Culture is proud to announce that Kent Henry will be honoured at this year’s Bermuda Gombey Festival, taking place Saturday, October 18 at 5:00 p.m. at the Botanical Gardens.

Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Owen Darrell, JP, MP, said, “Kent Henry represents the heart and spirit of the Gombeys, through discipline, dedication, and a deep love for our culture. His lifetime of service as a drummer, mentor, and leader has strengthened this living tradition and inspired the next generation to carry it forward.”

The Department of Culture invites the public to join in celebrating Kent Henry and his contributions to Bermuda’s Gombey legacy at the 2025 Bermuda Gombey Festival.
