The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public that two major street events will take place during the weekend and public holiday 16 June 2025, requiring temporary road closures and traffic controls in the City of Hamilton and surrounding areas.
Revel De Road Carnival Procession will occur on Monday, 16 June 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The event features two laps, beginning at City Hall Car Park and concluding at Bernard Park. The route includes Wesley Street, Victoria Street, Cedar Avenue, Dutton Avenue, Marsh Folly Road, and North Street.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, avoid the designated routes during event times, and comply with directions from Police and Traffic Marshals who will manage traffic controls and access.
