Captain Dennis Maybury steps into a new role as the Public Relations Officer after leading Cedar
Hill Corps in Warwick for the past four years.
Born and raised in Bermuda, Captain Dennis has a deep connection with the island and is eager to continue fostering relationships within the local
and business communities. Before his ministry, he served with the Bermuda Police for 27 years.
Since being ordained in 2010, Captain Dennis and his wife Mary were stationed in Fort Frances, Ontario, as well as Glace Bay and Liverpool, Nova Scotia, prior to returning to Bermuda.
Majors Mark and Wendy Crabb are very familiar with ministry to the island, returning to Bermuda as Corps Officers/Pastors of the West End Community Church in Sandys Parish. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario in Canada, and since being ordained in 2007 they have served in several locations including, Collingwood, Oakville and Toronto in Ontario, as well as ministering for 5 years at the Salvation Army Cedar Hill Corps, in Warwick Bermuda.
Major Wendy also served as Chaplain
for the Salvation Army Harbour Light in Hamilton, Bermuda. The Crabb’s are thrilled to be back in Bermuda.
Lieutenant Amy Patrick joins The Salvation Army in Bermuda from Edmonton, Alberta in Canada, where she served following her ordination in 2021. Lieutenant Amy who is originally from Calgary, Alberta, was raised in The Salvation Army. She has always admired the Army’s commitment to helping others, and during her time as an officer, her desire and passion to serve have grown stronger.
Amy is looking forward to getting to know the people and hearing their stories. She says
“It’s our stories that connect us. I’m excited for how God will continue to move through the people and this island.”
All the new appointees have a passion for serving people in need. The Salvation Army in Bermuda looks forward to the positive transformative impact they will have in the community.
