Jonte Smith scored his second hat trick in as many games, as St George’s moved to the top of the Premier Division with an 11-1 massacre of Robin Hood at
Wellington Oval yesterday.
The home team tallied four goals in the first half, with Smith scoring the first three goals and Kieshon Wilson the other, to leave no doubt as to what would be the end result.
Nevertheless, they added seven more goals after the break, as Smith found the range once more, while Malachi Trott and Blair Hall reached notched braces, Wilson too scored a second and Manoj Paynter got one.
Meanwhile, Dante Leverick scored a meaningless consolation goal for the losers.

North Village hammered Somerset 4-0 at Bernard Park, scoring twice in each half, as the west Enders had no answers in defense nor attack.
Village scored twice from close range in the first half, with Naciri Smith taking advantage of a goalkeeping error by Azar Morrissey in the 22nd minute and Jaizel Smith-DeShields tapped in a second at the 41st minute mark.
Following up with further after halftime were Tre Ming and Tahmi Williams in the 59th and 61st minutes respectively.

A goal scoring-fest at Wellington Oval saw PHC emerge 5-2 victors, while handing Hamilton Parish a third straight league loss.
The Hot Peppers led early on the tails of a seventh minute strike from Shayne Hollis, but the advantage became a disadvantage as Zebras returned fire through T’ysi Showers, Marco Warren and Jaylon Bather.
Hollis notched another goal to draw Parish back to within one on the half hour, however more misery for the home side was to come as Shavon Nisbett and Jalun Hassell added further insurance for the visitors.
