Around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, police attended a report of a person having been mauled by a dog, at Rubber Tree, Warwick.
Upon arrival, officers were informed a 44-year-old male had been attacked by his dog.
He suffered serious injuries to both forearms and had been in and out of consciousness.
Bermuda Fire and Rescue along with Emergency Medical Services personnel also responded to the reported incident.
The injured male was attended to at the scene before he was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
The Animal Wardens collected the dog from the scene.
