4 People Shot, In Robin Hood Pub Shooting

At around 6 p.m. this evening, a unidentified individual entered the Robin Hood Pub in Hamilton, discharged several rounds of gunshots targeting what TNN understands to be two specific individuals.

As a result of the incident, there are unconfirmed reports that four people were hit and two of them are in critical condition. It is believed one individual received an injury to their hand and another person received a superficial gunshot wounds.

Acting Police Commissioner Darrin Simons urges the public to stay away from the area right now, as it is under active investigation by the police.

“ Right now, we have an acting Assistant Commissioner who will be leading this investigation and the public can expect to see increased policing around reassurance patrols that are happening as a direct response to this particular incident,” he explained.

“ I cannot explain enough how heinous and despicable this kind of situation is, this is not at all what we would like to be seeing, I expect better from the public and we can do better.”
“ I am asking the public to be patient and allow the BPS to do their work at this time,”

Minister of National Security the Honorable Rene Ming said. “ If there is any assistance that you can give or anything you can think of, please feel free to make that call to crime stoppers at 800-8477
