One person appeared in Magistrate’s Court this morning for allegedly breaching COVID-19 curfew violations.
Shae James pleaded guilty to breaching curfew on Friday, February 12 in Warwick Parish.
Magistrate the Worshipful Maxanne Anderson was originally going to order the Devonshire resident to pay the standard fine of $3000, but per his request and the request of his counsel Susan Mulligan, the Magistrate dismissed the case until Wednesday, July 7, so that Court Services could determine his eligibility to complete community service hours.
Should Court consider Mr. James to be ineligible to complete those hours, then he will be required to pay the fine instead.
