19-year old Equan Richardson was yesterday charged in Magistrate’s Court, with the theft of $8,495.00 worth of jewellery from yesterdays morning, a 19 year old Equan Richardson of Hamilton Parish faced charges for the alleged theft charges of $8,495.00 worth of jewelry from Swiss Jewellers Goldsmith and Watchmakers.
The Hamilton Parish man is alleged to have broken into the business on January 26th of this year and stolen a 14kt yellow-gold extra-large Hog Penny pendant, one 14kt yellow-gold 22 inch long rope chain, one 14kt gold 16 inch long neck wire, one 14kt yellow-gold Hog Penny medium pendant, one 14kt yellow-gold hog penny rustic pendant, 14kt yellow-gold Spanish silver cob pendant, one 18kt yellow-gold sailfish pendant with green enamel and diamond and one 14kt yellow-gold Bermuda Map necklace.
Richardson pleaded not guilty to the offences.
He was granted $5000 bail by Senior Magistrate Maxanne Anderson, and is due back in court on January 15th, 2024, for mention.
