Since the last update, the Ministry of Health received 6588 test results, and 109 were positive for the coronavirus, giving a test positivity rate of 1.6%.
These results are from testing done on:
- Wednesday: 25 positive out of 2167 results (1.2% positivity)
- Thursday: 28 positive out of 2031 results (1.4% positivity)
- Friday: 32 positive out of 1284 results (2.5% positivity)
- Saturday: 24 positive out of 1106 results (2.2% positivity)
13 of the new cases are classified as imported with a history of travel in the previous 14 days.
The additional 96 new cases are classified as either local transmission (41) or under investigation (55).
Additionally, there were 102 recoveries and 0 deaths.
There are 180 active cases, of which:
- 168 are under public health monitoring; and
- 12 are in hospital, with 0 in intensive care.
Since March 2020, Bermuda has recorded 11743 coronavirus cases, out of which 11440 have recovered, and sadly there have been 123 coronavirus-related deaths.

- 25 are Imported
- 66 are classified as local transmission
- 89 are Under Investigation

- 2310 are Imported
- 9106 are classified as local transmission of which:
o 4192 are Local transmission with known contact/source and
o 4914 are Local transmission with an unknown contact/source
- 327 are Under Investigation

“While our positive cases remain low, we are still seeing coronavirus related hospitalisations,” said Minister of Health, Kim Wilson, JP, MP. “The coronavirus pandemic has not gone away, and we need to continue to follow public health guidance. Wearing a mask is an essential layer of protection and testing regularly, especially before attending events.
“Our Pier 6 vaccination centre will be closed on Mondays, as of next week, and as a reminder, the last day to take advantage of free vaccinations at Pier 6 is March 31st.
“As always, to decrease the odds of getting the coronavirus, increase fresh air ventilation wherever possible indoors and avoid the three “Cs”: closed spaces, crowded places and close contact settings. Continue to follow Public Health guidelines, wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene, and maintain physical distance.”
